A world-renowned facility for children with severe brain disorders, Kennedy Krieger’s facility includes a 1/2 acre garden. Reflecting Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to wellness and environmental responsibility, Mahan Rykiel prepared landscape plans for two medical office buildings in Maryland with a focus on the experience of patients, staff and visitors.
Mahan Rykiel Associates provided complete landscape architectural services for the expansion at the University of Maryland Medical System including a rooftop garden, interior landscape design and streetscape. The project design includes extensive interior open space with skylights, planting and seating areas. Interior planting includes shade trees, seating, and a fountain.
