The Woodrow Wilson Bridge is the only Potomac River crossing in the southern half of the Washington, DC region. Designated as both I-495 and I-95, this heavily traveled bridge plays a significant role in the regional transportation system and will be one of the most complex urban transportation improvement projects in the nation.
MRA played an important role in this project by serving as a member of the General Engineering Consultants team. MRA developed design guidelines and specifications for the 18-mile roadway that covers densely populated areas and environmentally sensitive forests and streams.
