MRA Making Waves at ULI

Mahan Rykiel Associates is excited to announce that three projects won ULI Baltimore’s Wavemaker Award. Its especially rewarding since one of the awards is for a park, recognizing how open space can serve as an economic driver for local economies.  The Wavemaker Award is  judged based on each project’s overview, sense of place and quality, sustainability, visionary emulation qualities, and need. Preceding the Master Planning endeavor, Mahan Rykiel worked closely with the community to craft The Middle Branch Waterfront Framework Plan. This foundational document served as the guiding star for the Master Plan, outlining a comprehensive strategy to elevate waterfront recreation, establish resilient infrastructure, and foster regional biodiversity in South Baltimore.
