Annapolis City Dock

Merriweather District

/ / / / / / / /
Mahan Rykiel Associates has been collaboratively working with the project Master Plan Architect on developing and designing the streetscape and open space for a new high density mixed use urban neighborhood within the Merriweather-Symphony Woods Neighborhood in Downtown Columbia.

Chevy Chase Lake

The Neighborhood Square is designed to function as the heart and center of the Chevy Chase Lake development. Its open space and edges accommodate both daily uses such as outdoor dining and casual seating to programmed functions like concerts in the park, seasonal markets and festivals.

Lower Stony Run Strategic Plan

/ / /
The Lower Stony Run Strategic Plan serves as a framework to streamline stewardship along the Stony Run. Efforts to nurture the stream and adjacent park spaces have burgeoned organically, but a coordinated approach is needed to bridge existing gaps, enhance community accessibility, preserve woodland ecology, promote responsible park use, and synchronize stewardship initiatives.

Appian Roof Terrace

/ /
Appian Corporation had a vision of creating a natural space where their staff could relax and unwind. To bring this vision to life, Mahan Rykiel conducted a feasibility study on the terraces of the office building and provided landscape design services.
